Nowadays, the global economy is witnessing an interesting trend – for the first time in its development history, humanity is trying to slow down the pace of consumption. This is a natural process following the observed overconsumption by the so-called “spoiled” Western countries. Flooded with a wide variety of products offered at ever-lowering prices – as a result of fierce competition among Asian manufacturers, goods have turned into so-called “disposables.” Of course, this brings enormous consequences for the environment. Just think about how often today’s advertisements end not with a specific price offer, but with the mention of a certain international certificate that the product complies with.
In the mattress industry, these certificates carry particular weight because besides a long life and comfort, a mattress must provide good orthopedic support for the proper maintenance of the spine – essentially making it an almost medical product. Additionally, due to the nature of its use, it must be made from materials harmless to the human body – after all, we spend one-third of our life on a mattress while sleeping.
TED Certifications
As a leading mattress manufacturer, we demonstrate good practices in this field by certifying our products in international laboratories for more than a decade.
Testing according to the international standard DIN EN 1957 for quality, durability, and controlled production. This standard tests the quality of goods and services from various origins and is already well-known on the Bulgarian market. The best-selling TED products boast the highest quality results from this independent laboratory, as well as certification for orthopedic medical products from the Bulgarian Executive Agency for Medicines (ИАЛ).
