In this regard, May 2022 was especially active.
TED BED donated mattresses to two hospitals – SBPLR, Pernik and the Pulmonary Hospital in Plovdiv. With this, we hope to support a faster and more complete recovery for patients through better sleep and more comfortable rest.
At the traditional annual awards for corporate partners of SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria – “One Family,” TED BED was honored with the award for LONG-STANDING AND LOYAL CORPORATE PARTNER.
The “SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria” Association is part of the large international family “SOS Children’s Villages International,” which has cared for nearly 2,500,000 children in 135 countries since 1949.
“SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria” started its activity back in 1990 and is the first civil rights organization in the country to provide direct care for children at risk. It was the first to offer an alternative to institutional care in Bulgaria after the democratic changes. For over a quarter of a century now, “SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria” has provided family-type care and family support, while actively advocating for the rights of children and young people.
To bring joy to the children on June 1st, TED organized a donation campaign alongside our May monthly promotions. We set aside a portion of the amount from each mattress sold, and together with our loyal customers, we were able to donate a total of BGN 4,000.
