RULES FOR THE CHILDREN'S DRAWING CONTEST "GREENER PLANET"
I. GENERAL TERMS
- The organizer of the drawing contest (“the Contest”) is TED BED EAD, UIC 200908653, with registered office and address: Plovdiv, 222A "Shesti Septemvri" Blvd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”). By participating in the Contest, the participants and their parents/legal guardians agree to the rules of the Contest (“Rules”) and undertake to comply with them at all times. The Rules of the Contest can be found at any time at the internet address https://ted.bg/.
- Participants in the Contest may only be children up to 12 years old (inclusive), permanently residing in the Republic of Bulgaria, represented by their parent or legal guardian. Employees of the Organizer, as well as their family members, are not allowed to participate in the Contest. The Contest is organized and held within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
II. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION AND CONDUCTING THE CONTEST
- To participate in the Contest, participants must independently draw a picture with ideas for a greener planet Earth and submit it through their parent/legal guardian as provided in the Rules below.
- Each participant has the right to participate in the Contest with only one drawing. If a participant submits more than one drawing, only the first one published chronologically will be considered for evaluation.
- Participants are not allowed to be assisted by their parents/legal guardians or other persons in creating their drawings.
- The participation period is from June 1 to June 11, 2023, during which participants, through their parent/legal guardian, can send drawings as comments under the contest post on the Organizer’s official Facebook page, scanned or photographed by phone: https://www.facebook.com/tedbedbulgaria
- Only drawings submitted by 23:59 on June 11, 2023, will be accepted. Participants with late or incorrectly submitted drawings will be disqualified.
- Voting will take place during the same period by liking/reacting to the comments by page visitors, and winners will be determined according to the number of reactions on their comment.
- After the voting period ends, the winners – the three participants with the most likes – will be announced on the Organizer’s official Facebook page.
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel votes for drawings suspected to have been made in violation of the Rules.
- The Organizer will notify all finalists by comment and personal message. Participants must confirm within three days of notification by replying to accept the prize and provide delivery details: name, phone, and delivery address. The name provided must match the Facebook profile used to participate.
- If no confirmation or information is received within the deadline, the Organizer may replace the participant with a reserve one.
III. PRIZES
1st place – small set: 1 pillow + 1 I-COOL BALANCE lightweight duvet + 1 DANDELION bedding set
2nd place – I-COOL BALANCE duvet
3rd place – I-COOL BALANCE pillow
IV. NOTICE REGARDING PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
By accepting (agreeing to) the Rules, the participants in the Contest, through their parents/legal guardians, as well as the parents/legal guardians themselves (on their own behalf), confirm that they have read this section of the Rules. We may also separately request confirmation that they have read this section. For the purposes of determining finalists and/or in case of abuse and/or violation of the Rules, the Organizer may process data of persons who voted for a participant(s) in the Contest.
1. To participate, the participants and their parents/legal guardians must provide certain personal data as specified in point 9 of section II of these Rules. According to point 9, some data are mandatory, others optional. Besides these, the Organizer will process other data necessary for the purposes below, e.g., evidence of acceptance of the Rules, acknowledgement of this Notice, communication with participants regarding the Contest. TED BED EAD will be the contact point regarding personal data processing related to the Contest. 2. Purposes of data processing:
Personal data will be used for conducting/administering the Contest (including awarding finalists and the winner; detecting potential abuses or violations of the Rules and taking action), contacting participants (for Contest purposes), and possibly for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
The winner's drawing may be shared on other social media platforms and the Organizer’s official website.
3. Data retention periods:
Personal data of finalists, including the winner, will be kept for 5 (five) years from the date the winner is selected. Any correspondence with participants, including emails, will be kept for 5 (five) years from the selection date.
V. MISCELLANEOUS
The Organizer is not obliged to correspond or discuss decisions related to the Contest or the determination of winners, as winners are determined by the total number of votes and these decisions are final and non-negotiable.
The Organizer reserves the right to terminate the Contest at any time by announcing it on its official Facebook page, official website, or by any other means if there is a significant breach of the Rules, suspicion of a crime related to the Contest, data indicating infringement of legal rights of third parties, force majeure, or if deemed necessary. If the Contest is terminated, the Organizer owes no compensation to participants.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend or supplement the Rules at any time, including changes to the contest period, type and size of prizes, and timing or method of determining finalists and winners. All changes take effect immediately upon publication at https://ted.bg/
The Organizer may request proof of identity of a participant and/or their parent/legal guardian and proof that they meet the eligibility requirements. Failure to provide such proof may lead to disqualification at the Organizer’s discretion.
Participation in the Contest is not tied to the purchase of goods or services.
All rights and obligations of child participants are exercised by their parents/legal guardians.
The Organizer is not responsible for any damages arising from changes, delays, or failure to provide prizes.
The Organizer is not responsible for temporary unavailability of https://ted.bg/, inability to upload drawings, vote for drawings, or any other technical issues related to the Contest. Such problems will be resolved as quickly as possible.
The Organizer has the right to disqualify any participant who violates the Rules or does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Each participant has the right to withdraw from the Contest at any time by simply deleting their comment.
